The Story of Abby & JJ Williams
Abby and JJ Williams are the founders of Lantern Hill. After traveling to Ensenada 10 years ago as leaders on several service trips, their lives were changed. They knew they wanted to give others this same life-changing opportunity. They sold everything they owned in Los Angeles, CA moved to Ensenada, Mexico and in 2007 “Lantern Hill” was born.
They created a place responding to the most basic needs of every human; a place that educates, feeds and cares for children and families in Baja California, Mexico. In 2009 Abby and JJ began their family by adopting a family of five Mexican children. With the arrival of their baby girl last spring the family grew again. All eight of them currently live in Ensenada, Mexico with their two dogs, Holly & Calvin.
